AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. - Responsible for safe vehicle operations, driving, and crew safety at all times. - Drives truck to destination. Prepares donations receipts at house pick-ups or miscellaneous deliveries, if needed. - Identifies unusable material (UM) and advises donors of alternative means for pick up. - Loads and unloads material from vehicle by using a hand truck or dolly. - Responsible for safely operating the lift-gate when up-loading and down-loading cargo. - Coordinates load movements with the truck helper and other crew. - Loads vehicle, distributes weight evenly, forms compact load, organizes assorted donations and effectively utilizes space. - Positions pads, stacks and secures items on truck to prevent damage to goods and positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit. - Completes and maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations. - Completes and maintains vehicle maintenance sheets by performing daily ...Driver, Operations, Vehicle, Retail, Representative
