Job DescriptionLocation: Honolulu, HISalary Range: $90,000-$150,000 DOEPeriod of Performance: 2.5 years (approximately 15% of the construction work will be performed during non-business hours, Monday – Thursday, 6 pm to 7 am the following day and Friday 6 pm to Monday 7 am).Project Overview: Project Solutions Inc. is seeking a seasoned (on-site) Construction Manager for a project at Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalanianaʻole (PJKK) Federal Office Building and Courthouse in Honolulu, HI.*Applicants must currently reside in Hawaii.This role is contingent upon award.Project Details: This project involves a 23,000 sf remodel of the PJKK Courtyard, addressing water infiltration and flooding issues, with scope including waterproofing, landscaping, and structural repairs.Responsibilities: Coordinate technical and administrative activities.Interpret and review construction plans and specifications.Assist in managing design and construction phases.Provide management advice to GSA.Anticipate and resolve project issues proactively.Manage inspections, quality, safety, schedules, and budgets.Maintain effective communication with stakeholders.Ensure compliance with federal contracting principles and standards.Qualifications: Minimum 5 years in architecture, engineering, or construction.Experience with similar projects.Knowledge of building science, construction methods, and codes.Effective communication skills.Proficiency with construction management software.Certified Construction Manager (CCM) from CMAA.OSHA 30-hour safety training.Working Conditions: Combination of office and field work, exposure to weather and site hazards, physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and frequent site travel.Benefits: Medical, dental, vision plans, and telehealth services.HSA, life insurance, 401(k) with match, and monthly allowance for insurance premiums.PTO, holidays, sick leave, flexible work, and professional development opportunities.This information is not exhaustive.
