Use herbarium specimens, maps, and other historical records and databases to collect and analyze information on the establishment of non-native plants in the Hawaiian Islands. Maintain and review data, annotate metadata. Perform other data-related assembly or analysis tasks as assigned. Minimum Qualifications. Bachelors Degree in Biology or related field 0-1 years of experience using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to visualize data, create and modify GIS layers, and to analyze spatial data. Familiarity with herbarium specimens and experience extracting data from herbarium specimen labels. Experience documenting meta-data associated with geographic coordinates. Demonstrated ability to work independently to complete assigned data-management tasks according to agreed-upon timelines. Desirable Qualifications.
