Description:

Marsh Management Services, Inc. is seeking candidates for a full-time position based in the Honolulu, HI office. A telecommuting or hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with company policies.

Position: Associate I - Account Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of captive insurance company clients, serving as the main client contact.
• Maintain financial records and prepare periodic financial statements.
• Monitor premium cash flow to maximize investment income.
• Manage local and overseas bank accounts and administer investments according to guidelines.
• Collect premiums, process claims, and handle administrative expenses.
• Coordinate annual audits, actuarial studies, and statutory filings.
• Liaise with brokers, fronting companies, and regulators to ensure compliance with relevant statutes and regulations.
• Act as Principal Representative and monitor captive compliance with applicable laws.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a similar role, including maintaining financial records, preparing reports using Excel and financial software, and ensuring compliance with insurance statutes.
• Experience with GAAP and IFRS standards, liaising with auditors and actuaries, and coordinating statutory meetings and filings.
• Knowledge of insurance and reinsurance contracts, claims, and policy procedures.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range is $72,500.00 - $108,200.00 per year, determined by experience and qualifications. The role may include performance incentives. Marsh offers a competitive benefits package including health, welfare, tuition assistance, 401K, and employee assistance programs.
