The position is deadline-driven; Project Managers must be able to set priorities, take ownership of projects, work efficiently, and provide a consistent level of high-quality in a high-pressure environment. Project Managers must demonstrate innovation, excellent communication skills, and a high level of customer service.The salary range for this position is $89,572-$146,285/year, please note this is a tiered position.This position comes with a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) plan with a 3% match, paid time off (PTO), company-paid holidays, and an annual performance bonus.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)Review and approve detailed project/component-level plans.Manage and oversee projects, including managing the estimating/proposal process, subcontracting process, and subcontractors' activities; identify and recommend solutions to mitigate issues and problems encountered during various construction phases in accordance with the project scope of work, acceptable construction code/practices, and Federal and State regulations.Broad knowledge of Site Work, Commercial Steel Framing, Masonry, Concrete, Roofing, Drywall, Taping, Electrical, HVAC, Flooring, Painting, Doors, Frames & Hardware.Travel to job sites to gather information on materials needed, labor required, and other factors in order to prepare estimates.Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications and performing quantity take-offs for select trades. Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses.Interact with clients, architects, engineers, and local Jurisdictions to understand and incorporate project objectives, schedules, permits, costs, etc.Develop and define acceptance criteria for all project phases/key deliverables. Close monitoring of critical milestones and deliverables.Ensure the project stays aligned with the strategic goals and delivers the planned/stated benefits.Provide engineering and technical guidance, support, coordination, and oversight to project staff preparing written project documentation.Collaborate with various groups within Ahtna and multiple client organizations.Identification analysis of all project risks and preparation of a risk response plan.Proactive communication of risks to concerned stakeholders.Identify and ensure the resolution of all project-level issues.Manage all communications between internal stakeholders, clients, and third parties.Ensure the preparation of various status and progress reports with metrics for various stakeholders.Align all the project components and groups to ensure project success.Supervise construction field staff and tradesmen. Work closely with site superintendents in executing a wide variety of construction activities, overseeing and conducting field quality control functions with field QC staff.Foster a high-performance team environment where diversity is valued and people are treated with respect and dignity.
