Position Function:
The person in this role is part of a team responsible for maintaining and supporting the bank's infrastructure and participates in various projects to continually improve its efficiency and security. Position requires a high-level of technical knowledge to perform problem identification and resolution of hardware, software, network carrier, and security issues. Oversee development and installation of new hardware and software to deliver capabilities required to achieve business goals. May assume the Project manager role for simple and complex projects and/or assume the Technical Lead role for other projects. Works under minimal supervision and operates across several computer environments and platforms.

Primary Accountabilities:
Cloud Engineering – design, implement, and manage cloud-based systems for businesses. Develop and implement cloud-applications, migrate existing on-premises applications to the cloud, and debug cloud stacks.
Project Implementation – manage complex projects. Leads projects involved in design of network architecture, integration, and installation. Develops scope and objectives of a project and prepares the project plan and during implementation acts as the team leader.
Network Security and Monitoring Support – provides maintenance, installation, upgrades, and service support for all bank network security systems. Responsible for establishing and enforcing policies and procedures related to network security and performance.
Network Management Support – provides network service support such as building servers and workstations, performing software testing and upgrades, and assisting network users with network related problems. Ensure Enterprise systems are available to internal and external customers for access 24x7 and operate at peak performance levels. Assists in communication and coordination of network maintenance schedules, backups, and other downtime to users.
Prepares and maintains documentation of network design, installations and configurations. Develops and implements policies and procedures related to network hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security, and backup.
Data Communications and Networking Support – provides internal team member support in the administration and management of the bank's data communications network. Assist in the development, implementation, and support of the enterprise voice and data network – consisting of LANs, high-speed Internet, and VPN connections.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience required
Experience:
6+ years' Experience in IT, specifically working with the Microsoft Operating System, or related experience required.
Experience with VMware virtualization
Preferably experience in effectively managing cross-functional teams in influencing key stakeholders across the organization and within complex contexts.
Demonstrated experience in both planning and successful execution roles in complex environments.
Proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT infrastructure engineering groups in complex and dynamic environments.
Attainment of relevant certifications and professional networking via involvement in industry groups.
Azure and/or AWS certifications highly desired
Azure and/or AWS: Must have real-world, hands-on experience delivering Azure based solutions utilizing ideally within large complex environments.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
Must be able to perform light physical work and to move or lift items including but not limited to boxes, files and papers up to 20 pounds unless otherwise as indicated.
Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer and/or other work related mechanical or electronic devices and applications.
Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers. Must also be able to hear sufficiently to engage in daily discussions and interactions.
Must be able to read and understand bank-related documents.
Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods of time. Must also be able to adapt to different work environments as needed to perform the job.
