CRYPTOLOGIC COMPUTER SCIENTIST

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Cryptologic Computer Scientist to perform data and computer science analysis in support of customer operations.

Primary Location: Annapolis Junction, MD

Secondary Locations: Augusta, GA, San Antonio, TX, Oahu, HI, and various locations

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Poly

Degree Requirement:

• Must have a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with at least one programming course and four upper-level math classes (Calculus and above).

Skills and Experience:

• Ability to leverage computer science expertise to solve mission problem sets.
• Expertise with operating systems, compiler theory, database theory, algorithms, computer architecture, discrete math, programming language theory, and data structures.
• Relevant experience in computer systems research, modeling/simulation, software design, programming, computational science, reverse engineering, and developing computer or information systems.
• Comfortable participating in cross-agency working groups, joint development activities, field assignments, and external customer support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordination across multiple teams.

Education and Experience:

Entry-level positions require an Associate's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus 2 years. Higher positions may require up to 13 years of experience with an Associate's degree, 11 years with a Bachelor's, or 9 years with a Master's degree.

Pay Range:

$116,000 - $255,000. The pay range is a guideline and does not guarantee a specific salary. Compensation considers responsibilities, education, experience, and competencies.
