WAREHOUSE/DRIVER
$20.00 to $26.00/hr
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- General upkeep and organization of the warehouse
- Maintenance and upkeep of equipment
- Tracking of tools & equipment
- Delivery and pick-up of materials, equipment or machinery
- Responsible for proper documentation, labelling & packing needed for delivery or pick-up of materials, equipment or machinery is complete for all stages of transport
- Responsible for checking cords and hand tools for safety issues prior to being issued out
- Responsible for checking and putting away tools and equipment from returned jobs
- Fueling of equipment
- Operates forklift as needed
- Performs other related duties as directed
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: - Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
- Must hold a current DOT license
- Must have the ability to acquire a RapidGate and other required passes for access to projects
- Asbestos & Hazardous Waste certifications a plus
- Good verbal, written & interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work M-F, from 5am - 1:30pm, and occasional nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: - Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid state motor vehicle operator's license
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of driving experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. regularly and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, pull.
- Ability to move around the warehouse to fulfill orders.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in both warehouse and driving environments. Warehouse work may involve indoor and outdoor conditions, including exposure to heat, tight spaces, poor lighting, and other warehouse-related hazards. Driving duties involve operating a tractor-trailer and other vehicles, which may include driving in heavy traffic, inclement weather, and varying road conditions. The employee will be required to safely climb in and out of trucks, secure loads, perform vehicle inspections, and engage in physical activity such as loading and unloading materials. Extended periods of sitting while driving and standing or walking while in the warehouse are required. The employee must correctly and consistently utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and appropriate work gear. Work may be performed independently for extended periods or as part of a team.

Work involves prolonged standing and walking; lifting an carrying materials and tools; repetitive use of tools; occasional crawling; working in tight spaces; working at various heights; climbing and descending stairs, ladders, and scaffolding. For employee assigned to driving duties, prolonged periods of sitting while operating a vehicle are also required, along with physical activity related to loading, unloading, and securing materials and equipment.
