We are committed to building communities and expanding skylines with a team of dedicated professionals.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Full-Time Senior Fire Protection Consultant for our Irvine, CA office, with consideration for other locations including Boise, Denver, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Portland, Riverside, and San Diego. The role involves providing technical expertise, mentoring, and leading fire protection and life safety strategies, ensuring compliance with building and fire codes, and promoting technical excellence.Your ResponsibilitiesDesign and oversee fire protection and life safety systems.Provide guidance to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.Lead building code consulting efforts for various complex projects.Review project designs, calculations, and documentation.Contribute to business development initiatives.QualificationsBachelor or Master in Fire Protection Engineering or related field.PE license or NICET Level IV Certification; additional certifications are a plus.5-7 years of industry experience, including project management.Deep knowledge of building and fire codes (IBC, NFPA, UFC, OBO).Excellent communication skills and adaptability.Preferred SkillsKnowledge of REVIT and AutoCAD.Experience in fire protection engineering design.Benefits & CompensationWSP offers comprehensive benefits and a salary range of $99,800 - $135,000 (varies by location).
