Bishop & Company is seeking an Records Clerk with strong computer skills who is able to multi-task. This person will help with administrative tasks for medical cases, so knowledge of medical terminology is helpful, but not required. Ideal candidate must be able to meet strict deadlines and have good written and oral communication skills. Prior medical/clinical experience is preferred. Primary duties: Help build cases, request for medical records, task cases from a busy work queue daily to the appropriate nurse reviewer. Sort and process faxes. Check the daily census to ensure that cases are being reviewed appropriately. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum requirements: Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office.
