• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with at least one programming course and four upper-level math classes (Calculus and above)
• Relevant experience in a computer science area (theoretical or applied), designing, developing, using, or evaluating mathematical models, methods, and techniques (e.g., algorithms) to study issues and solve problems, engineering (electrical or computer), or high-performance computing
• Ability to leverage computer science expertise and tradecraft to solve mission problem sets
• Experience participating in cross-agency working groups, JDA, field assignments, and external customer support
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordination across multiple mission teamsEducation and Experience:Entry-level positions require an Associate's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience. Higher positions require up to an Associate's degree plus 13 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree plus 11 years, or a Master's Degree plus 9 years of relevant experience.Pay Range: $117,000 - $250,000The BTS pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of salary.
