Facilities Electrical Engineer Long-Term Government Program in Honolulu, Hawaii

Are you an experienced electrical engineer looking for an exciting career opportunity in paradise? Engenium is seeking a Facilities Electrical Engineer to join a long-term government program in Honolulu, Hawaii. If you're a U.S. citizen with a passion for excellence and a desire to work on impactful projects, we want to hear from you!

Requirements

  • Security Clearance: Possess or be eligible for a SECRET clearance.
  • Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited Engineering college curriculum (minimum four-year degree). At least six (6) years of design management and/or design experience in facilities electrical engineering and multidisciplinary project design.
  • Professional License: U.S. Professional Engineering (P.E.) registration in the discipline (not mandatory but preferred).
  • Technical Expertise: Broad-based engineering principles, strong technical knowledge in facilities electrical engineering, proficiency in design calculations for electrical services, transformers, power distribution systems, overcurrent devices, lighting calculations, layouts, fixture specifications, AutoCAD drawings, and familiarity with the Electric Code.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing; experience preparing correspondence, detailed reports, and briefing management.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and adaptable to new software (eCMS, MS Teams, Zoom, etc.).
  • Additional Requirements: Provide proof of U.S. citizenship (U.S. born or naturalized); complete the SF-85-P Questionnaire for Public Trust Positions.
