Job Details

Assist the Principal Investigator in conducting research related to materials development for fuel cells, with emphasis on developing catalyst and support materials for proton exchange membrane fuel cell applications. The graduate research assistants will be expected to be trained in EHSO laboratory safety, plan and conduct materials development experiments, perform characterization techniques, and report the finding in a publication style report. Minimum Qualifications:Must be a degree-seeking graduate student (Masters or PhD) admitted to or registered in a graduate program at UH Manoa in mechanical engineering or related field of study. Must be in good academic standing and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above and maintain full-time enrollment. Bachelor of Science in materials science, chemistry, mechanical engineering, physics or related scientific fields. Working knowledge of principles and practices of scientific research.
