Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced preschool teacher with a strong foundation in child development and a deep commitment to equity and excellence in early learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with HIDOE standards
• Support cognitive, language, and social-emotional growth through intentional, play-based learning
• Incorporate community-based learning, including programs like service learning and Keiki Building Community
• Collaborate with peers and mentor support staff
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with ECE coursework
• Hawaii teaching license in Early Childhood Education or actively working toward it (must be completed within 3 years)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in early childhood classrooms
• Experience supervising assistant teachers or support staff preferred
