Job Description

Title: Residential Advisor ($20-$22/hour depending on experience)

Provide all Residential Advisor functions for Symphony Honolulu efficiently and effectively, ensuring a safe and secure environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver a premium home experience to all Symphony Honolulu owners and residents.
  • Maintain order, enforce rules, regulations, policies, and laws.
  • Patrol all areas to detect violations, investigate disturbances, complaints, and accidents.
  • Confer with management, interview guests and employees, warn or trespass violators, and caution careless persons.
  • Render assistance to accident victims and document incidents via reports.
  • Respond to emergencies, ascend stairs rapidly, and assist law enforcement as needed.
  • Use portable radios for communication.

Supervision

  • Supervision Exercised: None.
  • Supervision Received: Direct supervision from Security Supervisor and General Manager.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: Prefer at least 1-year experience in hospitality or condo security; customer service background preferred.
  • Knowledge: Laws and ordinances related to condominiums.
  • Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent, Guard Card, CPR, First Aid, AED, and computer skills.
  • Skills: Good communication, report writing, human relations, ability to lift 75 lbs., sound judgment, team-oriented attitude.

Preferred

  • Guard Card, AED, CPR, First Aid certifications.
  • Ability to assist residents and guests in emergencies.
  • Completion of Residential Advisor training courses.
