Assistant Director of Human Resources - Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Director of Human Resources to lead our HR team in fostering a positive team culture aligned with Hilton values.

Qualifications:

• Five years of HR management experience
• At least two years of labor relations experience, including investigations, grievances, arbitration, mediations, and union requests
• Knowledge of EEO, benefits, and leave laws
• Hospitality experience preferred
• Legal background preferred

Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage labor relations, investigations, employee counseling, and grievance resolution
• Participate in union contract negotiations and serve as a Trustee for Union/Hotel Trust Funds
• Assist the Director in overseeing HR functions, including recruiting, training, benefits, compliance, employee relations, and safety
• Lead team member programs and oversee data management systems
• Recruit, interview, and train staff
• Prepare HR reports and act in the Director's absence
• Support hotel quality initiatives
