We are currently seeking a dynamic Assistant Director of Human Resources to lead our HR team in fostering a positive team culture aligned with Hilton values.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of Human Resources management experience.
  • At least two years of advanced Labor Relations experience, including handling investigations, grievances, arbitration, mediations, and union requests for information.
  • Knowledge of EEO, Benefits, and Leave laws.
  • Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Legal background preferred.

The salary range for this position is $90,000-$120,000.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage labor relations, including investigations, employee counseling/discipline, and grievance resolution per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Serve on the hotel's union contract negotiation committee and support related research and costing tasks.
  • Act as a Board of Trustee for the Union/Hotel Trust Funds.
  • Assist in directing and administering the HR functions to ensure outstanding guest service and profitability, including recruiting, training, benefits, compliance, employee relations, and safety.
  • Supervise daily HR department activities and oversee team member performance and development.
  • Manage team member relations programs and oversee data management systems.
  • Recruit, interview, and train new team members.
  • Prepare HR-related reports and act in the absence of the Director.
  • Lead quality initiatives as needed.
