The Opportunity:

CCI has an immediate opening for a Logistics Specialist in support of our mission-critical government client located in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a Logistics Specialist supporting Distribution Mobility Operations, you will provide planning services to enhance readiness, inform decision-makers, test capabilities, and improve coordination among USINDOPACOM and its mission partners. These planning and operational services may vary in scope, objectives, and participants depending on the mission partners and logistical priorities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Synchronize and execute joint distribution operations in support of military missions, ensuring seamless movement and sustainment across the operational environment while maintaining visibility across the Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE) to enable redirection of strategic and operational flows based on shifting priorities.
  2. Manage and maintain In-Transit Visibility (ITV) capabilities to enable real-time tracking of personnel, equipment, and cargo throughout the Defense Transportation System (DTS). Assess, optimize, and mitigate resource competition for distribution assets, including commodities, lift capabilities, and port access, through integrated lift provider coordination.
  3. Implement deconfliction strategies and develop improved solutions to reduce operational friction, aligning with theater-level distribution priorities.
  4. Enforce Combatant Commander (CCDR)-assigned supply and transportation priorities to optimize the allocation and flow of critical resources.
  5. Develop and maintain robust and redundant distribution networks to support routine operations and surge requirements under varying operational conditions.
  6. Identify and coordinate distribution requirements with Joint Force Commanders (JFCs), ensuring timely delivery to designated points of need, including austere or non-traditional locations.
  7. Provide ITV compliance across distribution operations to meet CCDR requirements and enhance situational awareness and decision-making in support of joint warfighting objectives.
  8. Ensure timely delivery of logistics support to meet Required Delivery Dates (RDD) and provide Transportation Distribution Dates (TDD) aligned with CCDR requirements.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Current Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in logistical planning and executing Joint Logistics at the Combatant Command level.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate efficiently and effectively without direct supervision in joint and interagency environments, maintaining communication and responsiveness.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to be deployable to the required theater of operations, with periodic travel within CONUS and OCONUS.

Desired:

  • Professional military education; intermediate or higher-level service Staff College.
  • More than five years of experience working in a Joint Staff or Geographic Combatant Command environment.
  • Recent experience supporting USINDOPACOM.
