Job Summary

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for purchasing, warehousing, and inventory management at a specific location. This role involves implementing best practices, improving supply chain processes, and leading location purchasing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain high standards of presentation and cleanliness in all areas.
  2. Understand all menus, products, packaging, and pricing.
  3. Build rapport with team members, management, and partners.
  4. Follow safety and sanitation practices.
  5. Manage inventory and equipment control and handling.
  6. Achieve daily sales and cost targets.
  7. Meet budget goals.
  8. Contribute to daily and monthly reporting and department documentation.
  9. Ensure team adherence to company guidelines and standards.
  10. Maintain security, safety, and sanitation standards.
  11. Properly store, rotate, and date products according to guidelines.
  12. Monitor inventory procedures for accountability.
  13. Use performance management tools to guide and give feedback to team members.
  14. Foster a cooperative and productive work environment.
  15. Hire, train, and develop team members following company policies.
  16. Maintain a positive attitude and team spirit.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Supply Chain or Purchasing.
  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or related field is preferred.
  • High computer literacy and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in new technology and industry trends.
