Position Overview

The Inns of the Corps Hawaii is a 24-hour hotel facility requiring staffing around the clock, 365 days a year. The Guest Services Agent (GSA) performs a variety of guest service duties, including greeting and checking in guests, managing reservations, handling payments, and addressing guest inquiries and complaints. The role emphasizes providing world-class customer service, maintaining a professional appearance, and embodying the principles of courtesy and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

1. Greet and check-in arriving and departing guests
2. Serve as the primary contact for guest questions, concerns, and needs
3. Monitor PBX and telephone functions, answer calls
4. Assist with reservations, room assignments, issuing keys, and billing
5. Maintain logs and operate front desk systems
6. Resolve guest complaints and requests, escalating issues as needed
7. Provide concierge services and support guest satisfaction
8. Adhere to safety and workplace standards, report hazards or incidents
9. Perform clerical duties and other related tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in hospitality, customer service, or related office work demonstrating relevant skills
• Proficiency in operating a computer and software such as Microsoft Office
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Basic business math skills, cash handling experience
• Professional appearance and courteous demeanor
