Job Overview

Join us to be part of a dynamic team supporting critical government missions in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a Logistics Specialist supporting Distribution Mobility Operations, you will provide essential planning services to improve readiness, facilitate decision-making, test capabilities, and coordinate among USINDOPACOM and partners. The scope of your work will vary depending on mission priorities and partners.

Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate and execute joint distribution operations supporting military missions, ensuring seamless movement and sustainment while maintaining visibility across the Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE).
  2. Manage In-Transit Visibility (ITV) capabilities for real-time tracking of personnel, equipment, and cargo within the Defense Transportation System (DTS), optimizing resource allocation.
  3. Develop deconfliction strategies to reduce operational friction and align with distribution priorities.
  4. Enforce supply and transportation priorities as assigned by the Combatant Commander (CCDR).
  5. Develop and maintain resilient distribution networks for routine and surge operations.
  6. Coordinate with Joint Force Commanders to identify and deliver distribution requirements, including in austere locations.
  7. Ensure ITV compliance and support situational awareness for joint warfighting objectives.
  8. Ensure timely logistics support aligned with Required Delivery Dates (RDD) and Transportation Distribution Dates (TDD).

Qualifications

Required

  • Current Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
  • At least 5 years of experience in logistical planning and execution at the Joint Logistics/Combatant Command level.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently in joint and interagency environments.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to deploy to operational theaters with periodic travel within CONUS and OCONUS.

Desired

  • Military professional education; intermediate or higher-level service Staff College.
  • Over five years of experience supporting USINDOPACOM.
  • Experience working in a Joint Staff or Geographic Combatant Command environment.

Compensation
