Base pay range

$37,000.00/yr - $43,000.00/yr

Summary

Apply systems analysis techniques and procedures, such as working with users to determine and set up hardware (PC, Mobile devices, Printers, POS systems), software, and application configuration. Provide support for retail stores' POS and donation systems. Support students and faculty at Kapolei Charter School. Assist the Director of IT with various projects and tasks as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support for IT systems on the Goodwill network, including printer and mobile device support.
  • Manage the helpdesk ticket system, ensuring tickets are properly assigned and updated.
  • Install and test hardware and software peripherals, ensuring licensing compliance.
  • Repair IT systems, including PCs, MACs, Tablets, VOIP, and Cellphones.
  • Support and administer user accounts in the POS system, troubleshooting issues with retail staff.
  • Maintain user accounts and permissions via Active Directory; assist with password resets.
  • Coordinate with vendors to set up new equipment, troubleshoot, and generate RMAs.
  • Work with Microsoft operating systems, Office applications, and Microsoft365.
  • Support VOIP systems, including voicemail and phone number management.
  • Assist users with hardware and software configuration, setup, and functional specifications.
  • Design, modify, and document computer programs such as the POS system.
  • Generate daily reports for retail management and IT leadership.
  • Adhere to all company and safety policies and procedures.
  • Support additional systems like cameras, audio, and tablets; travel and after-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 1 year of desktop support experience.
  • Knowledge of Windows environment, hardware troubleshooting, OS installation, patches, and updates.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals; effective communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Windows, MS Office, Outlook, Mobile devices (iOS and Android).
  • Basic math skills; ability to perform operations with currency, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve problems with minimal variables.
  • Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+; valid driver's license and insured vehicle.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, and occasionally sit, climb, or stoop. Must lift/move up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close, peripheral, color distinction, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment

Moderate to loud noise levels; regular attendance required. Core hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional after-hours support and travel.
