Overview:

We are seeking a visionary and technically adeptHead of AIto lead our AI initiatives and bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and real-world customer solutions. This role will involve close collaboration with PhD candidates and research teams actively engaged with customers, ensuring research translates into valuable, scalable AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the AI strategy and roadmap in alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
• Mentor and supervise PhD candidates and junior researchers working on customer projects.
• Translate academic research into applied AI technologies and solutions.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can deliver value.
• Oversee the development, deployment, and optimization of AI/ML models.
• Ensure ethical, explainable, and responsible AI practices.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

• PhD or Master's in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven leadership in AI R&D and deployment, preferably in customer-facing environments.
• Experience collaborating with or mentoring PhD-level researchers.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Deep understanding of data science, NLP, computer vision, or generative AI.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred:

• Experience in industry-academic collaboration.
• Background in telecommunications, media, or consulting.
• Familiarity with enterprise AI deployment at scale.
