Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality security services to protect people and property
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, employees, and visitors
• Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual activities verbally and in writing
• Handle security issues and emergencies according to MaxSent protocols
• Understand site-specific operations, manuals, and post orders
• Greet visitors and employees cheerfully, answer questions, and assist as needed
• Remain adaptable to changing environments
• Patrol the facility on foot or vehicle
• Monitor CCTV systems and alarms

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED
• At least one of the following:
• 2 years of armed security experience
• 2 years of military or National Guard service
• Completion of state-certified law enforcement training
• Completion of police officer standard training courses
• Prior firearms experience preferred
• Hawaii State Guard Card required
• Outstanding communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to handle emergencies effectively
• Must pass background check, drug screen, physical exam, and reference check

Additional Requirements

• Hawaii DHS Homeland Security Federal Protective Service Clearance preferred
