Job Summary

Analyzes data by combining multiple data sources and researching various system and healthcare issues in order to perform on-time research and analysis to formulate solutions for issues of low to moderate scope and complexity.

Education & Experience Required

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare, Information Management, or equivalent experience
  2. If supporting Ecclesiastes contract, must be a U.S. Citizen
  3. If supporting Ecclesiastes contract, must be able to receive a favorable Interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation
  4. 1 year experience in healthcare analysis, data management, or equivalent training or education
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Preferred

  1. Familiarity with healthcare claims and payment data
  2. Basic knowledge of JIRA and ability to write user stories in Agile
  3. Proficiency in the use of computer systems, database applications, Microsoft Office, structured query language (SQL), MS Azure, Databricks, and/or Edifecs
  4. Experience with business process needs analysis and requirements gathering
  5. Experience with JAD sessions and performing detailed fact gathering
  6. Familiarity with reporting tools such as PowerBI

Key Responsibilities

  1. Compiles, organizes, and conducts various performance, cost, budget, and/or specialized data analysis to document and identify trends or potential issues.
  2. Reconciles data and develops explanations for variances as necessary.
  3. Meets with requestors to get requirements and develop solutions to fulfill various requests (reports, trends, measures, forecasts).
  4. Maintains responsibility for assigned reports, producing them accurately and in a timely manner.
  5. Establishes relationships with business owners of reports.
  6. Responds to customer questions and requests in a timely manner.
  7. Maintains documentation and ensures all procedures support department and company policies and procedures.
  8. Works with management to understand and interpret the impact of decisions made by retrieving, analyzing, and identifying variations and trends in healthcare delivery and communicating the information obtained from analysis.
  9. Other duties as assigned.
  10. Regular and reliable attendance is required.
