The Opportunity:

CCI has an immediate opening for a Logistics Specialist supporting our mission-critical government client in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a Logistics Specialist, you will provide planning services to enhance readiness, inform decision-makers, test capabilities, and improve coordination among USINDOPACOM and its mission partners. These services vary in scope, objectives, and participants depending on the mission priorities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support Total Asset Visibility by tracking the identity, status, and location of DoD units, cargo, passengers, patients, and personal property from origin to destination.
  2. Utilize the Defense Transportation System (DTS) to track assets supporting DoD operations and supported CCDRs.
  3. Provide ITV for all force and sustainment movements supported by DTS activities, integrating among DOD components and industry partners involved in the supply chain.
  4. Identify and report issues with ITV reporting interfaces, including incorrectly prepared, delayed, or frustrated cargo and personnel, to support operational decision-making and ensure visibility is maintained.
  5. Manage Command and Control Systems (C2) and Information Technology (IT) to facilitate force tracking during deployment and redeployment processes.
  6. Ensure Asset Visibility (AV) and deployment processes are enabled through integration of AIT, ITV, and systems like the IGC, SMS, and Web SM within JOPES.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Current TS/SCI Security Clearance.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistical planning and operations.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently in joint and interagency environments, maintaining communication with the client.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to deploy to the required theater, with periodic travel within CONUS and OCONUS.

Desired:

  • Professional military education, such as intermediate or higher-level service Staff College.
  • Over five years of experience in a Joint Staff or GCC environment.
  • Recent experience supporting USINDOPACOM.

Pay Range:

The proposed salary range is $82,000 - $180,500, influenced by location, experience, skills, and other factors. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, financial, retirement, family support, education, and time off. Learn more here.
