Job Description: Cyber Security Engineer

Fusion Technology is a performance-driven HUBZone Small Business concern located in West Virginia, near the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services Division. Founded in 2007, we provide comprehensive IT services and solutions to mission-critical US Government programs and the Intel Community.

Location: Charleston, SC; San Antonio, TX; Pearl Harbor, HI; Stuttgart, Germany.

Clearance: DOD Secret or TS/SCI

Experience: Junior (0 years), Mid (3 years), Senior (10 years)

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies, including Assessment and Authorization requirements.
• Planning, implementing, upgrading, and monitoring cybersecurity measures to enhance cyber defense and maintain network resilience.
• Assessing vulnerabilities, proposing remediation actions, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensuring security controls are in place to protect digital files and infrastructure.
• Responding to security breaches and reporting incidents.

Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a focus on computer science. Certification as IAM, IAT, or IASAE Level I per DoD 8570.1M and DoD 8140 is required, depending on tasking.
