The iconic Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort is looking for an Activities Coordinator to join the team.

Situated on 22 acres along Waikiki's broadest stretch of sand with 2,860 rooms and 17 food and beverage outlets, this premier meeting destination offers over 150,000 sq. ft. of function space and Waikiki's most unique meeting and event venues.

  • Classification: Full-Time
  • Schedule: 8 am to 4 pm, weekends required.
  • The hourly rate is: $17

What will I be doing?

As an Activities Coordinator, you would be responsible for coordinating guest recreation activities and serving as the liaison or ambassador of the hotel assisting with any information. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  1. Plans, supervises and conducts various activities for all guests while monitoring the quality of these activities and ensuring that the concepts are maintained.
  2. Perpetuates Hawaiian culture by coordinating Hawaiian activities, including but not limited to lei making, hula lessons, ukulele lessons, arts/crafts, and games.
  3. Greets and communicates with guests with a smile, in a warm and friendly manner, informing them of the day's activities and explaining each event.
  4. Maintains cleanliness of work area.

What are we looking for?

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE

1 year of customer service experience preferred.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES

CPR Certification and/or First Aid training preferred.

GROOMING

All team members must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).

OTHER

Additional language ability preferred.
