Summit Technical Solutions (STS) is seeking a SharePoint Front End Developer to provide software engineering support on the Command Information Management Systems (CIMS III) contract in Huntsville, AL.

General Description

Perform software engineering activities including concept, design, analysis, development, testing, government acceptance, integration, documentation, and delivery and operation of software.

  • Software development activities may include implementation of security controls, performance monitoring and improvement, and SharePoint templates and workflows.
  • SharePoint activities include portal branding, graphics and page layout design, and training end users to update SharePoint pages and templates.
  • Web Portal tasks include supporting technology enhancements, graphic support, testing, design, recommending latest technologies, web hosting and design, posting modifications, testing and re-engineering web pages, and maintaining web sites.

Required Skills

Qualified candidates must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
  • US citizenship with current Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain one
  • Security+ CE or equivalent IAT Level II certification
  • 5 years SharePoint experience
  • 7+ years development experience within the .NET framework (C#, VB, ASP, SQL, HTML, CSS, XML, JQuery)

Preferred Experience

The following skills/experience are a plus:

  • 5+ years' experience with Microsoft Windows Server, including PowerShell scripting
  • 5+ years' experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS
  • Experience with SharePoint Farms and SharePoint migration
