This role is based remotely. If you live within a 50-mile radius of Warren, MI or Austin, TX Innovation Centers, you are expected to report to that location at least three times a week. Relocation may be considered.

As part of the MarTech Strategy and Solutions team, the Senior MarTech Solutions Architect leads the design, development, and deployment of advanced marketing capabilities at General Motors. This role combines marketing strategy and technology, focusing on platforms that leverage cutting-edge technology to deliver personalized, data-driven customer experiences using our Marketing Technology stack, including Customer Data Platforms (CDP), Personalization engines, Campaign Management tools, AdTech, etc.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with deep expertise in marketing technology, particularly Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Journey Orchestration, and Adobe Campaign, with experience in data architecture. You should be a creative problem solver and collaborator, able to establish a clear vision and work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven experience in designing and building marketing technology tools across the full MarTech spectrum is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead solution design for Adobe AEP and Campaign tools, aligning with business objectives and translating requirements into technical roadmaps.
  • Configure and set up Adobe Experience Platform and Campaign based on best practices.
  • Develop multi-year roadmaps with Product Management and Engineering to meet business and platform goals.
  • Design and implement data models, schemas, workflows within Adobe AEP and real-time CDP, and integrate with other Adobe solutions and third-party systems.
  • Design data integration strategies ensuring seamless data flow and quality standards.
  • Ensure solutions comply with data security, privacy, and regulations like GDPR and CCPA.
  • Maintain architectural standards for scalability, maintainability, and security.
  • Collaborate with Adobe and other partners to stay updated on platform enhancements and evaluate new features.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
  • Provide guidance and training on Adobe AEP and Campaign best practices.
  • Uphold GM values and foster a positive team culture.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, action-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in digital marketing solutions architecture for large enterprises.
  • 5+ years with Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Campaign, on-prem and cloud.
  • Proficiency in Adobe solutions, SQL, scripting, and data manipulation.
  • Strong understanding of software development, Agile methodologies, and system integration patterns.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Relevant Adobe certifications are a plus.

Additional Information

Education: Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred.

Compensation: $94,800 - $151,400 base, plus bonus potential and benefits.
