JOB SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Dietary Supervisor, Dietary Manager, or designee, provides expertise in services related to food preparation, production, and distribution with a focus on delivering quality food and nutrition services. Supports the Dietary Supervisor, Dietary Manager, or designee in the planning and implementation menu items. Supports the dietary team in meal delivery to ensure the highest quality meal preparation and service for the guests/residents at OPMC. Maintains proper equipment operation/maintenance and maintains department policies and guidelines to ensure regulatory compliance for proper safety and sanitation in the kitchen. Some inventory management and cleaning are part of daily duties. The Cook performs his/her duties in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations as well as the policies, procedures and core values of Ohana Pacific Management Company.
