Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the Studio Programs Manager, the Fiber Arts Studio Programs Teacher co-creates and leads classes, workshops, special events, and drop-in activities for groups of all ages and abilities at the Art School and the Honolulu Museum of Art. This position is responsible for instruction in the designated fiber arts studio, the museum's galleries, and courtyards and utilizes HoMA's art collection, exhibitions, and lending collection to encourage creative expression and nurture artistic abilities.

The Honolulu Museum of Art is committed to practicing salary transparency. The hourly rate for this position is $25.00 per hour. Working Conditions and Atmosphere:
Part-Time teachers are expected to work approximately 10 - 12 hours per week. The Art School is open Wednesday through Sunday, with morning and evening classes. Ability to operate general office equipment including computer, copier, printers, fax machine, etc. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, up to 25 lbs. of general office material or equipment.
