Summary:

The AR SW Technologies Technical Program Manager will be part of one of the most exciting product lines in the industry, at the forefront of ensuring AR products' success. As a Software Technical Program Manager, you will lead the software development of new software technologies, product features, and software platform capabilities for future generations of AR devices. This highly cross-functional role requires an experienced leader with technical, program management, and leadership skills. We seek technical program managers who excel at bringing complex technologies to life, motivating teams, building cross-functional relationships, and championing process improvements to ensure smooth and predictable program execution in an innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have experience managing technical programs for consumer products and leading large initiative teams.

Required Skills:

• Manage and own complex cross-functional program execution in a large matrix organization, spanning product management, user experience, software engineering, hardware, firmware, QA, and data science, from development through customer launch.
• Develop and manage end-to-end program plans, coordinating across organizations to ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead launch and release activities related to models, firmware, and software features.
• Drive technical strategy, proactively identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and set priorities for cross-functional areas.
• Establish best practices and KPIs to ensure success; design and scale solutions to improve efficiency.
• Communicate planning, status, issues, and risks to stakeholders in a timely manner, translating complex topics into clear messages for stakeholders and executives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience as a technical program manager, engineering manager, or product manager, leading software development.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Assistant, and Machine Learning technologies.
• Experience defining and improving software engineering processes at scale.
• Proven team leadership, decision-making, and presentation skills to large groups.
• Experience delivering technical programs or products from inception to completion.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with embedded systems and consumer device software.
• Knowledge of software and hardware product development processes.
• Experience with AR technologies.

Compensation and Additional Information:

Public Compensation: $167,000/year to $230,000/year + bonus, equity, and benefits.
