Job Description

Housekeepers are responsible for maintaining cleanliness in buildings by performing tasks such as picking up trash, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, and ensuring supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, and soap are stocked. Additional duties include cleaning windows, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying trash.

• Clean assigned areas including furniture, telephones, fixtures, walls, windows, window sills, blinds, and vents.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum all floors, restrooms, and break areas.
• Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Perform general cleaning, light floor care, and assist with special event setups.
• Collect and remove trash and recyclables.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, including documentation, safety, and reporting.
• Knowledge of state or local safety regulations.
• Familiarity with custodial equipment.
• Ability to interpret and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Professional customer service skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of related experience preferred.
