About Soccer Shots Oahu

We are seeking individuals who love children and are patient with those who challenge us! At Soccer Shots, we introduce soccer to children ages 2-8 onsite at preschools all over the island. Through the revenue generated by the classes you run here in Oahu, we currently financially sponsor 1,500 children in Cameroon (West Africa) and 300 more in Peru (South America). We offer rewarding work and great pay (starting at $21 per session, with raises up to $27 per session available).

We want to give you raises quickly, so we provide an outline for how to get those raises as quickly as possible!

Coaching Details

Classes are Monday through Friday in preschools and Saturdays at park programs in select locations, 30-45 minutes for each session depending on age. We provide training, coaching equipment, and all curriculum materials. We are prioritizing hiring soccer coaches who will be available for multiple sessions throughout the week, especially for our afternoon sessions (most start setup at 2:45 pm). This part-time position is available immediately.

Essential Qualifications

• Availability – Minimum 3 weekday afternoons (*Tues, Wed, Thur preferred) as well as Saturday and/or Sunday mornings (9:00 am - 12:00 pm).
• Commitment to working here for at least a year, as children thrive with consistent coaching. Many of our current coaches have been with us for over 9 years.
• Fun & silly attitude – enjoy teaching young children; aim to make Soccer Shots the best 30-45 min of each child's week.
• Reliable transportation – must have safe and reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Background check – must pass Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check.
• Tb test results.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to attain if needed.
• Previous teaching or coaching experience, preferably with children ages 2-8.
