As a Power Delivery Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing and leading projects and programs throughout their entire lifecycle.
  2. Independently working or directing, mentoring, training, and supervising Project Engineers, EITs, Coordinators, Designers, CADD Technicians, and administrative staff.
  3. Overseeing team workload, schedule, quality, utilization, morale, and performance.
  4. Overseeing non-engineering components of projects, including public engagement, agency engagement, permitting, right of way, construction management, and client engagement.
  5. Leading the QA/QC process per HDR's Quality Management Systems to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  6. Supporting client management and engaging in business development activities.
  7. Coordinating with leadership and Talent Acquisition to develop hiring plans to grow the team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • FE, PE license preferred; PMP in lieu of PE.
  • Located in Honolulu, HI, or willing to relocate.
  • Experience developing technical papers or presentations for industry events.
  • Experience estimating costs and developing BOMs.
  • Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., PLS-CADD, MicroStation, AutoCAD, ArcGIS).
  • Experience with residential, commercial, industrial, reliability, grid modernization, and renewable energy projects.
  • Experience working with governmental agencies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 7 years of related experience.
  • At least 2 years of project management experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Active participation in our employee-owned culture.
