Job Title: Modeling and Simulation Environment Manager

Location: Pacific Warfighting Center (PWC) on Ford Island, HI

Supporting: USINDOPACOM

Job Description:

  1. Support the design, planning, coordination, execution, and assessment of joint simulation solutions focused on Joint Live Virtual and Constructive (JLVC) capabilities during USINDOPACOM JEP events, activities, and other projects.
  2. Serve as a critical Exercise Control Group (ECG) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Expert and Architecture Manager, translating operational needs into JLVC requirements.
  3. Identify joint simulation solutions and coordinate across organizations to build the JLVC solution, architecture, and information flows.
  4. Lead the M&S/JLVC Working Group during planning and manage roles of Environment Manager within the LVC Cell during event execution.
  5. Manage federation of computer models to support ECG scenario/vignette needs and facilitate information flow across the exercise architecture.
  6. Lead test events and validate information flow and architecture during planning and execution.
  7. Support other duties as needed with a flexible demeanor.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience; 4 additional years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in building joint live-virtual-constructive solutions for training exercises at tactical and operational levels.
  • Experience with Combatant Command (COCOM) exercises.
  • Experience facilitating Joint M&S/LVC Working Groups.
  • Experience with simulation federation management.
  • Familiarity with the Joint Training Manual and Joint Exercise Life Cycle.
  • Experience in building Simulation Test Plans.
  • Ability to obtain a Passport and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Required Clearance:

  • Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Must be a current US Citizen.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The displayed estimate reflects the typical salary range based on experience and other factors.
