Working Title:(Casual Hire) Campus Experience Specialist Position Number:*****Casual Hire Hiring Unit:Office of Admissions Location:Manoa Date Posted:May 12, 2025 Closing Date:May 27, 2025 Hourly Rate:$24.85 (based on APT Band A, Step 1) Schedule:Monday - Friday, up to 40 hours/week Temporary/Permanent:Temporary; not to exceed 89 days Other Conditions:Renewal of the position contingent upon needs of the department and availability of funds. Description of Duties and Responsibilities:Reporting to the Associate Director of Campus Experience and Events, this position will be responsible for working in the Office of the Admissions and primarily assisting staff with event programming, and providing answers about admissions related questions. This will include but not limited to answering emails daily, handling phone calls, conducting information sessions, coordinating event programming, and being a resource for our student assistants. Specific duties include: - Work with Campus Experience Coordinator on planning and organizing visits throughout the year - Manage daily reservations through the campus tour management system (VisitDays) to check reservations are correct, create visits online - Process and coordinate group visit requests for small and large groups from local and out-of-state high schools, colleges, and community organizations - Work with Welcome Center Coordinator in providing general admissions information to prospective students through presentations, phone calls, emails, and in person visits - Assist Campus Experience Coordinator in the planning of on and off campus events events - Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university - Ability to work independently and exercise good judgement under periods of high volume - Excellent customer service, including experience working with students, faculty, and staff - Experience with computers and software programs, such as Microsoft Office 365 Inquiries:Charity Fonoimoana; ...@hawaii.edu EEO, Clery Act, ADA
