Job Overview

This position is contingent on contract award.

We seek an experienced Logistics Planner to develop and implement strategies that ensure the timely and efficient movement, supply, and maintenance of troops and equipment. The role involves resource coordination, logistics analysis, and collaboration with various units to support operational readiness and mission success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in multiple aspects of logistics to enhance planning effectiveness.
  • Coordinate pre-deployment activities, including maintenance personnel, facilities, support equipment, materiel, and services.
  • Develop logistics estimates, assessing capabilities and operational environment characteristics.

This list is not exhaustive; additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements/Certifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in logistical planning.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required.

Physical Requirements

  • Work typically occurs in an office environment.
  • Activities include sitting, standing, climbing stairs for extended periods.
  • May involve bending, stooping, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Other Qualifications

  • Must have or be able to obtain necessary security clearances.

Additional Information

Compensation varies based on experience and benefits. The salary range is $31-$33 per hour, with full-time employees eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, paid time off, and bonuses. International SOS complies with all applicable wage laws.
