Overview

National janitorial cleaning company is looking for reliable people to provide commercial cleaning in shopping malls and major retail department stores. Pleasant, drug-free work environment. EOE. Background check required. Must be at least 18 years of age to apply, have reliable transportation, and be willing to work weekends.

Job Responsibilities

1. Works as a member of the housekeeping team cleaning a shopping mall or department store under the direction of a local Site Manager. Works independently and as a member of a team. Performs tasks such as cleaning entrances, restrooms, floors, Food Court, and break rooms, using various cleaning methods and equipment.
2. Performs cleaning during mall/store open hours, including patrols for hazards, spill cleanup, furniture cleaning, gum removal, restocking restrooms, portering Food Court tables, and trash removal.
3. Uses cleaning chemicals and equipment such as mops, vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers, following safety procedures.
4. Performs other cleaning tasks as assigned.
