Job Description

This position is contingent on contract award.

International SOS is seeking an experienced Logistics Planner to develop and implement logistical strategies ensuring the timely and efficient movement, supply, and maintenance of troops and equipment. The role involves coordinating resources, analyzing logistics challenges, and collaborating with various units to enhance operational readiness and support mission objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Involved in multiple facets of logistics to improve overall effectiveness of logistics planning.
  2. Coordinates pre-deployment planning for the provision of necessary maintenance personnel, facilities, support equipment, materiel, and services.
  3. Develops the logistics staff estimate, including assessment of the logistics capabilities and characteristics of the area of operations.

This list is non-exhaustive, and additional duties may be required.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements/Certifications:

  • Ten or more (10+) years' experience in logistical planning.
  • Recognized industry leader in area of expertise.

Education Required:

  • Master's Degree in relevant field of study.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is typically performed in an office environment.
  • Involves sitting, standing, climbing stairs for prolonged periods.
  • May require bending, stooping, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Other Qualifications:

  • Must have or be able to obtain required security clearances.

Additional Information

Pay range is based on factors such as experience and skills, and includes benefits like medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, and bonuses. Final salary will depend on the applicant's background and market data.

Compensation: Min: $145,000 Max: $155,000

Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, paid time off, and annual bonuses. International SOS complies with all wage laws.
