Job Overview
The Project Manager in the Electrical Division is a critical leadership role responsible for managing all aspects of administration, labor, material, and company assets on assigned projects within the AE Construction Mission. This position is based on the Island of Oahu and requires a dynamic individual capable of ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction. The Project Manager will be the key point of contact between the company, clients, and on-site teams, ensuring that all project goals are met while maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure strict adherence to the project budget, continuously monitoring expenditures to prevent overruns and achieve financial targets.
- Maintain a safe working environment by minimizing lost time incidents and ensuring a high score on AE's Safety Audit.
- Deliver exceptional value to clients by meeting or exceeding their expectations, fostering long-term business relationships.
- Manage projects effectively to ensure completion within or under budget, maximizing profitability.
- Achieve zero lost time incidents and maintain a high score on the AE Safety Audit, reflecting a strong safety commitment.
- Monitor project progress against KPIs such as schedule adherence, budget compliance, and quality standards.
- Act as the primary client contact, providing updates, gathering feedback, and addressing concerns.
- Ensure all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations in quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness, enhancing satisfaction and loyalty.
- Prepare and submit budget forecasts, cost reports, and financial summaries to management for transparency and accountability.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position supervises assigned employees and subcontractors.
Education and Experience
- 7-10 years of project management experience, including at least 5 years overseeing large-scale electrical projects.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Software Proficiency:
- Vista: for financial management and project accounting.
- MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook): essential for documentation and reporting.
- Electrical estimating software such as McCormick, Accubid, EBM, Conest.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Positive attitude and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Salary: $100K to $140K DOE with incentives & benefits

Physical Demands
Employees must occasionally stand, walk, sit, handle objects, operate equipment, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, talk, or hear. Must occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment
Primarily office environment; some domestic and international travel required.
