Job Description:

Location: Camp Smith, HI

Clearance Needed: TS/SCI

Are you ready for a challenge that will keep you on the edge of the US military's use of big data? Do you have experience building curriculum and training in computer science, data literacy, and analytic techniques? Imagine yourself working on a top-level, critical mission alongside other seasoned professionals. Parsons is now hiring a Data Science Training Specialist with a passion for educating and solving novel challenges to support our US INDOPACOM customer.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and meet objectives supporting strategic initiatives.
• Identify strengths and weaknesses in training materials; develop curriculum, manage training schedules, and instruct course content.
• Provide subject matter expertise to address deficiencies in data literacy and implement innovative solutions.
• Explain complex, technically difficult information in an easily understood manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Educate and mentor users on how to effectively use and interpret data, enabling independent insight derivation and informed decision-making.
• Work independently with minimal guidance to solve complex problems.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

Required Education/Experience:

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years' experience working in a multi-skilled team environment focused on data automation.
• Proficiency in Python, working with both structured and unstructured data, and automating data processing and analysis tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.

• Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior military experience supporting US INDOPACOM activities.
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Previous instruction or training experience.

Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret SCI

Salary Range: $86,700.00 - $151,700.00
