ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH PROGRAM MANAGER - DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH - HALAWA, OAHU

This position involves managing statewide environmental health programs such as vector control, sanitation, food and drug safety, noise, and radiation control. Responsibilities include developing and enforcing regulations, issuing permits, inspecting businesses and products, and providing technical community health services.

The role reports to the chief of the Environmental Health Service Division and oversees operations through supervisors across Oahu and the neighbor islands.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• At least three (3) years of professional experience in environmental health, including community health and safety programs.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience in related fields.
• Demonstrated managerial aptitude or equivalent experience.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary ranges from $9,142 to $14,625 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
