RESPONSIBILITIES
I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Implements and maintains the distribution and logistics management strategy and inventory control policies and procedures of The Queen's Medical Center (QMC) – Manamana.
• Oversees and manages the receiving, distribution, and logistics at QMC -Manamana and ensures the systems and processes for distribution of supplies and equipment meet efficiency and high-quality customer service standards.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Seeing, hearing, speaking, finger dexterity.
• Frequent: sitting, walking.
• Occasional: standing, stooping/bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, squatting, twisting body, lifting and carrying usual weight of 5 pounds up to 35 pounds, reaching above, at and below shoulder level, and repetitive arm/hand motions.
III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
B. EXPERIENCE:
• Five (5) years experience in supply chain management, preferably in a comparable organization.
• Two (2) years supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience to demonstrate the following:
o Ability to analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action.
o Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining relationships with affiliates and distributors.
o Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
o Self motivated and able to work with limited oversight.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, i.e. Word and Excel.
