Senior Manager, Business Data Analysis and Processing

Join us at Pearson as a Senior Manager, Business Data Analysis and Processing and lead strategic data research and visualization initiatives. This role involves modernizing core financial systems and driving data-driven decision-making. Reporting to the Vice President of Business Operations, you will transform customer purchasing and invoicing processes through data insights.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with leadership and tech teams to modernize operations including ordering, payments, and invoicing.
2. Manage manual processes until automation is implemented.
3. Design and oversee data analysis and business intelligence strategies.
4. Apply advanced analytics to uncover patterns, forecast trends, and optimize performance.
5. Develop data sourcing, validation, transformation, and visualization methods.
6. Create visual representations to communicate data insights clearly.
7. Translate complex data into compelling reports for stakeholders.
8. Partner with finance to analyze revenue, costs, and operational metrics.
9. Engage with customers and partners regarding invoicing and financial queries.
10. Monitor and refine analytical models for accuracy and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, marketing, IT, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in finance, martech, or IT with a focus on financial systems.
• Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret large datasets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working directly with clients is a plus.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented, and capable of working independently.
