Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of industrial engineers across multiple distribution centers. This role involves the development, maintenance, and improvement of our warehouse and labor management software, as well as strategic planning for future growth. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our systems while managing and mentoring your team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead a team of Engineers across multiple Distribution Centers.
2. Communicate effectively across the organization, including presentations and proposals.
3. Oversee the development and utilization of engineered standards and the DC Labor Management System.
4. Conduct investigative work related to the WMS or labor metrics system as directed by leadership.
5. Partner with Regional DC Managers to develop strategies and initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies.
6. Identify and develop solutions to inefficiencies in DC systems and operations, including collaboration with outside vendors.
7. Lead special projects such as feasibility analysis, financial modeling, RFPs, vendor selection, and successful implementation.
8. Travel up to 75% as required.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• 7-10 years of experience in warehouse or labor management systems or related fields.
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Strong background in developing and implementing labor metrics and warehouse management systems.

You'll go the Extra Mile if you have

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
• Supervisory experience in a distribution center environment.
• Knowledge of Voxware equipment and related training.
