Southern Glazer's offers a competitive compensation package with a starting salary range of $75K to $95K + bonus potential. This salary range is an average; final offers depend on education, skills, and experience.

Overview

Serve as the primary liaison between the local market and designated suppliers; develop strategic directions for supplier priorities to meet volume and value targets, ensuring alignment with brand standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Create marketing programs, present new ideas, and secure leadership buy-in
  2. Plan, execute, and evaluate sales, promotions, and marketing of brands
  3. Deliver marketing brand plans to management
  4. Lead supplier planning initiatives, including meetings and business reviews
  5. Ensure retail programs comply with standards through coordination with relevant departments
  6. Set program objectives and measure ROI with KPIs
  7. Align brand pricing and gross profit with strategy by channel
  8. Oversee funds related to local marketing and brand planning
  9. Use analytic tools (Tableau, ACD, EzFocus) to identify market opportunities

Additional Responsibilities

  1. Ensure program tracking is accurate and compliant with reporting requirements
  2. Stay informed on market trends and competition within product categories and regions
  3. Support POS/VAP planning and purchasing
  4. Coach and manage team performance, set expectations, and motivate
  5. Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Five years of relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain industry licensing
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Willingness to travel overnight
  • Knowledge of finance, pricing, and market regulations
  • Proficiency with business software and analytic tools
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Understanding of wine and spirits industry
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

Physical Demands

  • Sitting, typing, and using a computer for extended periods
  • Occasional walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 20 lbs
  • Extended hours, overtime, and weekend work may be required
