The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART)is the public transit authority responsible for the planning and construction of the Honolulu rail transit system for the City and County of Honolulu. The rail system, called Skyline, is the first fully automated, driverless urban light metro system in the U.S. and is the largest public infrastructure project in the history of Hawaii. Considerable work is in progress to extend the system past the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport and into downtown Honolulu, representing an 18.9-mile fixed-guideway rail system with 19 stations. It is an exciting time to be at HART, as the first segment of the rail system is open to the public.
HART is seeking an experienced Transit Contract Specialist to join our Procurement and Contract Administration division. This role ensures that all procurements comply with the state and federal regulations, and that contract requirements are met. The Transit Contract Specialist will report to the Deputy Director of Procurement and Contracts and plays a critical role in managing change orders across multiple HART contracts.
