What do our Pest Control Consultants do?

The primary purpose of this role is to sell the company's industry-leading pest management services and products to new and existing residential customers, while maintaining a customer-focused service to grow the business. You'll be the face of our national brand to your local community, and your clients will count on you to protect their homes and families. This includes assessing customers' needs by consulting with them and performing analyses using your expert knowledge of the company's products and services, resulting in sales of pest control solutions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, pest entries, etc. Based on assessment findings, sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance for residential customers.
• Collaborate with our Customer Service Center, Inside Sales department, and Technicians for increased opportunities.
• Partner with Branch Manager to identify revenue streams within our current base and develop proposals to resolve pest issues and enhance household services.
• Complete home diagrams using Sales CRM to ensure clear understanding of customer homes and challenges.
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
• Provide expert knowledge to ensure the satisfactory completion of new service installations.
• Complete daily activities and sales performance reports using the company sales CRM.

Essential Job Functions:

• Regularly move up to 10 lbs. and frequently move 11–20 lbs., including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects.
• Move around extensively — sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and navigating stairs, ladders, and scaffolding.
• Deal with various pests and enter small spaces such as basements, crawl spaces, and attics.
• Operate a motor vehicle safely and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Wear PPE, such as respirators, and work in confined or narrow spaces.

What do you need?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license (company vehicle and gas card provided).
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills; sales or pest technician experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% within assigned territories.
• Pass pre-employment background screening.

Base Pay Range

Hourly: $25.00 - $25.00. Starting pay may vary based on location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings can include overtime, incentives, commissions, and route assignments.
